Last month at our valued customer Midocean<\/a>, we expanded the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) on the SAP MII<\/a> platform. Among other things, with additional production dashboards. These dashboards provide real-time insight into planned production and what the status of this is throughout the production process, across departments. <\/strong><\/p>\n

We brought the whole thing live in 3 parts last month. The reason for doing this in parts is to reduce risk. Issues can then be resolved quickly in the interim. As a result, a “big bang” so close to the peak season has not been necessary. Midocean had chosen SAP MII at the time because of the easy phased replacement of the current MES system, and with this project the good choice of SAP MII has been reaffirmed.<\/p>\n
