Session “Will you choose to move from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA?

Good choice! On Wednesday, June 1, the interactive digital session “Switching from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA? Here’s how to do it successfully! took place. This session was designed to give managers including those in finance, supply chain, operations and IT more information about the transition and how to make it as successful as possible.

The current SAP ECC is supported until 2027. So switching is ultimately not a choice, but a must for the survival of your organization. To stay in tune with market needs and stay ahead of your competitors, it is wise to take action and make the switch as soon as possible. But how to make that transition as successful as possible. Questions that took center stage during the session were:

• How do you tackle it?
• How do you make sure the current business keeps running?
• How do you bring your people into the change?

These questions were answered from the experience and knowledge we have gained over the years at various organizations in the manufacturing and wholesale industries. In just one hour, we talk you through options, choices you face and how to successfully make the switch. So that you can take the big step at the pace that suits your organization and with immediate results.

Several experts spoke during the (over) one-hour session. Rogier Leijsen, managing consultant, addressed the 7 most important factors for a successful transition from his experience. Joris Sikking, also managing consultant, took you through the methodology we developed specifically for the manufacturing and wholesale industries. Guiding and motivating the people of the organization is essential for a successful transition. The third speaker of the session, one of our customers, gave more insight about how he got his coworkers to join him in the change and transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

After these stories, the interactive part of the session began. In groups of up to 6 people (in virtual rooms), all participants discussed their concerns regarding the transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA in order to learn from each other, discuss and inspire each other.

After the interactive component, the session concluded. And participants “went home” with new insights surrounding their organization’s successful transition.
